Vice President and General Counsel
“Part of what keeps our clients happy is how quickly we can respond to the changing HIM environment.” — Perry
Perry Gould applies his healthcare law background to the benefit of both HRS and its clients. With all the regulatory concerns caused by ICD-10, RAC, MS-DRGs and more, Perry’s knowledge of administrative law helps HRS coders, consultants and clients make sense of it all.??
Perry also handles all HRS proposals and contracts, enabling HRS to immediately respond to legal and contract processes. Getting to final contract can take a lot of time for a healthcare provider, but HRS and Perry can get you through it as quickly as possible.
Perry became HRS’s vice president and general counsel in 1996. Prior to joining HRS, he spent more than 20 years in private law practice specializing in business and health law. He is the former chairman of the Business Law Section of the Maryland State Bar Association.??
He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester and his juris doctorate from the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law.
